If gravity only obeys the Newtonian inverse square law for distance on solar scales, but not on galactic scales then what does the new equation look like? Also, is it possible that this is one of the factors involved in the expanding cosmos? I understand the expansion of the cosmos was slowing down due to gravity for the first 7 billion years but then started to speed up for the last few, perhaps 6.5, billion years.
